Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte pdf (eBook)

Jane Eyre is a novel first published in UK in 1847. It was written by English author Charlotte Bronte, who at the time was using a pen name “Currer Bell.”

Charlotte Brontë's novel tells the tale of self-described plain and poor girl with no family or social connections. Her experiences through a harsh boarding school and subsequently as a governess at Thornfield Hall are artfully and absorbingly told. This story was an instant hit upon first publication and remains a favorite today.

In 1848, the American edition of the book was released and up to this day, it has reached numerous countries and has been translated into various languages. Dozens of adaptations in various versions (graphic novel, film, television, musical, and radio show) had been made based on the novel.
